Amanda Seyfried Red Riding Hood Interview
The gorgeous Amanda Seyfried is preparing for the release of her latest moving picture, Red Riding Hood – which is based on the old fairy tale and tells the story of a medieval village that is haunted by a werewolf. In an interview, Seyfried spoke almost the moving-picture show, putting an terminate to the rumors that Red Riding Hood is like Twilight.
Even though the film has been helmed by Catherine Hardwicke — the woman who directed the commencement and worst movie of the Twilight franchise – and has a passionate honey triangle involving Amanda's character Valerie, Amanda claims that is where the similarities between the two stop.
"I think it is hard not to compare Red Riding Hood because Catherine directed the first Twilight," Amanda said.
"But Cerise Riding Hood is a very different film. I mean, yeah, at that place's a love triangle, and people can easily compare the relationship between Kristen Stewart and those two guys in Twilight to the Valerie, Henry, and Peter characters in this movie, but we accept and so many elements that make it completely different.
"Nobody knows who the wolf is in our movie. And we've modernized the story and added and then many levels to it and created our own story around the iconic center, which is the daughter in the woods who talks to the wolf, and has a swell human relationship with her grandmother, and all those symbols."
Ok, now that that's been cleared up tin everyone stop comparing the two? It's getting a little quondam. Personally, I think Red Riding Hood sounds fantastic, I'll totally be checking this one when it hits theaters March 11.
